Eligibility for admission

Admission to LL.B 1st semester class is open to the candidates who have a bachelor degree from the Dibrugarh University, or any other university, institution, recognized by the Dibrugarh University to be equivalent, with at least 45% marks in major or aggregate. Relaxations up to 5% of total marks in respect of SC/ST candidates and up to 3% in case of OBC/MOBC candidates are allowed as per norms of the Bar Council of India. . However the applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/ post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in law courses. Moreover, the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above, shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into the college, but only shall entitle the candidates to fulfill other institutional criteria notifiedby the college at the time of the admission.
